LOMBOK & GILI ISLAND

Lombok, another charming island on the east side of Bali, might not be as well-known as its neighboring island, but slowly it has emerged to be one of the most popular destinations in Indonesia. Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara also boasts gorgeous beaches and spectacular marine life. The south coast of Lombok is home to big waves, perfect for surfers of all levels. The Gili Islands are an archipelago of three small islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air — just off the northwest coast of Lombok. The islands are a popular destination for tourists looking for a remote island experience. The beaches of the Gilis are still powdery white, the water a beautiful clear blue and they are positioned perfectly for sunsets over Bali’s Mt Agung and sunrise over Lombok’s Mt Rinjani.
